When it comes to success, you can’t do it alone – and why would you want to?

Please take a minute to introduce yourself to the community

Hi all,

It will be great if we could introduce ourselves to the community and provide link to one blog/website we want to focus on promoting. Additionally, if we could share our social networking IDs (at least Twitter ID), we can stay in touch.

I'll kick things off with mine.
I've been an Online Marketing Consultant for small & medium business for over 4 years. Started blogging in Jan'08. I don't hesitate to tell you that it hasn't got the visibility to my expectations. I'd like to believe that I haven't worked hard on it rather than giving excuses like highly competitive niche & bla bla bla. The blog is at http://smartadvise.info. My twitter ID is ShriNagesh. View my complete profile at MeeID. http://www.meeid.com/shrinagesh

Would like to hear about your website / blog & your feedback on mine (if you can spare some time).

Hey,

My name is Eddie Sherman. I just started an iPhone App review site/blog and will be covering Google Android applications as well. We think we are in a pretty good niche and are just 3 days in with 142 hits today. We're going to start posting video with our reviews as well as do a weekly audio podcast and the occasional video podcast. I'm new to blogging and need all the help I can get to make this thing take off. Thanks for such a great resource. For starters, I'd really like to know if there are any affilliate resources that deal with iPhone application developers. I think those advertisers would really benefit from my site as a resource.

Thanks,
Eddie Sherman

Hi, I'm Laurie and I'm a virtual assistant. I've been blogging for most of this year, but only really consistently since this summer. I also am not getting as much traffic as I'd like and think I need to really work on my promotion. Some cross promotion with the right people seems like a good idea to me and I'm willing to stumble people's posts if they are good and I'm asked! Send me links to my twitter account @halosecretarial

My blog is here and I would LOVE some feedback. Will check out all your blogs too and share any help I can!

Hi one and all,

Bill here. I first experimented with a blog back when blogger was launched. With no real focus I stumbled my way around and treated my blog with no real respect. Many of these posts are still available in my archives (not convinced removing them is the right thing to do).

Over the years my blog has changed, but one thing has remained the same, it is personal. I've never focussed on tackling a niche subject. I use my blog as a voice to anyone who will listen. In a recent attempt to tidy it up I created a number of key categories and vowed that I would only post in one of those categories.

Chinese - I'm failing hopelessly to become fluent in Mandarin.
My Thoughts - Sometimes I have something to share (Eddie there are a couple of iPhone App reviews here).
Photos - I'm not a "photographer" as such, but photos are meant to be seen, not filed away in a cupboard
Daily Adventures - Travel or big events (think wedding here)
Blog - Things to do with my blog, the approach, the tools and the stats.

By the nature of my blog, I'm not expecting the world in terms of site visits (my goals for this month are linked from one of the posts on this network). I'm not expecting to make a living off it either. What keeps me going is the odd comment or the occasional email from someone on the other side of the world who has stumbled across my blog and talked about a shared experience.

My Blog: http://billglover.co.uk/
Platform: Wordpress
Hosting: Self Hosted
Twitter: @bill_uk

With regards to helping each other out, I have some ideas on how we can all do this. Whilst the community is still small, I think we will find that each of our blogs is quite unique. However, there are some things I think we can do to help each other out. @Laurie: you touched on this in your comment. I'll post more as soon as I get a chance to get my thoughts together outside of work.
